Jami's experience is not the first time that a person has had to be rescued from a ride. Amusement parks and water parks have protocols in place for such incidents, and employees are trained to quickly respond to emergencies.
According to (New York Post), just last month, a passenger on a rollercoaster ride in California caused the entire ride to come to a halt when they decided that they no longer wanted to continue. The incident resulted in the evacuation of the ride. Such incidents are not uncommon in amusement parks, but they can be disruptive and potentially dangerous.
