Crispy chicken legs: the secret to make them perfect!
Have you ever tried to cook chicken into milk? The result is so good!
INGREDIENTS:
- 6 chicken legs
- 1 tbsp of salt
- 200ml (⅔ cup) milk;
- 200ml (⅔ cup) water;
- salt and pepper;
- 1 tsp oregano;
- 1 ½ tsp paprika;
- 120 g (1 cup) all-purpose flour;
- 120g (1 cup) breadcrumbs;
- 2 eggs;
- 60ml (¼ cup) milk;
- vegetable oil for frying.
METHOD;
Place chicken into the saucepan, season with salt and pour milk and water just to cover the meat.
Cover the pan with a lid and cook chicken on medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
Leave the chicken to cool down.
Meanwhile whisk breadcrumbs and flour with paprika, oregano, salt and pepper.
Separately whisk eggs with milk.
Dredge chicken in flour, dip into eggs and cover with breadcrumbs again.
Fry chicken legs for 15 minutes, turning constantly for even browning.
