Ingredients

SALTED BUTTER, MELTED8  tbsp

WHITE SUGAR  1 /2 cup

PACKED LIGHT BROWN SUGAR 1/4 cup

VANILLA 1 tsp

EGG 1 

ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR 1 1/2 cups

BAKING SODA 1/2 tsp

SALT 1/4 tsp

CHOCOLATE CHIPS 3/4 cup

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 1

Place the butter in a large bowl.

Step 2

Add the white sugar.

Step 3

Add the brown sugar.

Step 4

With an electric mixer, beat the ingredients until light and creamy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla until the mixture is just combined.

Step 6

Mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.

Step 7

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Step 8

Mix well.

Step 9

Shape the dough into 12 balls.

Step 10

Place them on the baking tray.

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until lightly golden in color.

Remove from oven and let cool on a rack.
